Charlie Murphy did one of his "True Hollywood Stories" about how Prince whipped up on him and his boys at basketball. In the skit Chapelle, playing Prince, dunks and says "game blouses" after Charlie Murphy had made a comment that the game should be shirts vs blouses b/c of what Prince was wearing.

Ok... that has got to be one of the greatest one liners by a color guy EVER!!!! Man, I only wish I had seen that before the game. I'm at work and I can't stop laughing. HILARIOUS!!!!

Gottlieb was tits all night. He went form calling out our game plan . . . "harley loves the baseline jumper" - he proceeds to hit two wide open baseline jumpers - "you'd think after 20 games of film they'd recognize that" and "theyre going to ball screen elonu all night" . . . to shutting TFU for an extended period of time . . . to calling the game at about the fifteen minute mark . . . to the game blouses comment. It was what i imagine the texags bball board would sound like if it could talk.

I've seen Gotlieb in the studio plenty, but this is the first time I've listened to him in the color chair. I was very impressed with the way he saw the game. Got into the refs a little, got on the kids a little, got on the coaches a little. He definitely wasn't too PC to call it how he saw it, and he swallowed a little crow at the end as well. And to pull a fairly obscure pop culture reference like 'Game, Blouses' to complete the night was genius...

I always thought he was a smug *****, but I enjoyed that.

I loved Doug's willingness to say what he thinks, every blown call was pointed out, every missed assignment, every coaching move.

He's one of the best color guys out there.

I've always liked Gottlieb. He's always been pro Big12 and pro TAMU. Any of the idiots on here saying he's anti-A&M just because he preemptively called teh game haven't heard him talk about us over the last few years.

And yes, he was nails last night.

T Durden - I'm pretty sure the Onions comment came from the guys doing the recap in the program immediately following the game. I think the Sportscenter guy or the College Basketball Recap guy was like "I've always wanted to say Onions at the end of a game"
