It's a shame that the TV stations in Houston haven't said anything about the Aggies having 5 kids from Houston on a team that won the Big 12 Tournament. Last month they were blowing up Griner because she can dunk, yet her team has never advanced past the 2nd round in the HS playoffs. I assume what these younfg ladies have done doesn't warrant any coverage. I will contact my friends at the Chronicle, I have called the television stations but no response. If anyone has any connections, please help.

Sim- I am so sorry and disappointed to hear about the Houston coverage. Their accomplisments need to be publicized... they are such wonderful role models for both young women AND men. The girls and Coach Blair are amazing and they have one huge fan up here in Canada in me! I can't wait to hear where they will be going for the NCAA's.

As most of you know, the ladies won the Big 12 Conference Tournament for the first time ever. http://www.aggieathletics.com/index.php?SID=WBB
They are projected to be a number 2 or 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament which will be announced today. The ironic part about it is we have 4 major TV stations, yet no one has mentioned anything about it. I guess some of you might wonder why the stations should and here's the answer. Texas A&M has 5 kids from Houston on that team
