...and the Ags are not one of them. Most, including bracketologist Charlie Creme, believe the Ags will be rewarded with a #2 NCAA seed this evening. However, of the potential top 8 seeds, we are the only team that Hays doesn't give a true shot at the title.
Obviously we haven't earned the right to be put in the same category with UConn, Tennessee, UNC, etc. But the Ags are probably as hot as any team in the nation right now. I definitely think that we could be a team who makes a surprise run like Rutgers last year. In order to do that, we will have to go through one of the "Super 7" to reach the Final Four. Hays put us in the same category of teams like Duke, Baylor, Cal, and Louisville who will also enter the tournament with reason to believe they can contend with the best.
