...and the Ags are not one of them. Most, including bracketologist Charlie Creme, believe the Ags will be rewarded with a #2 NCAA seed this evening. However, of the potential top 8 seeds, we are the only team that Hays doesn't give a true shot at the title.

Obviously we haven't earned the right to be put in the same category with UConn, Tennessee, UNC, etc. But the Ags are probably as hot as any team in the nation right now. I definitely think that we could be a team who makes a surprise run like Rutgers last year. In order to do that, we will have to go through one of the "Super 7" to reach the Final Four. Hays put us in the same category of teams like Duke, Baylor, Cal, and Louisville who will also enter the tournament with reason to believe they can contend with the best.

Here's to hoping the Ags can surprise the nation and make a legitimate run deep into the tournament.

If we play our game its going to be tough to knock us out. My only concern is rely very heavily on the outside game to score and we don't have great size inside. So if we go cold and they've got a hoss or two in the middle we're in trouble.

That being said, I haven't seen a game yet where the whole team went cold.

I think the worst case scenario for us would be to go up against a team like LSU with Sylvia Fowles or UConn with Tina Charles. Micheaux and Buchanan wouldn't be able to hang with these quick bigs.
