If we need a quote from some talking head to fire us up to play the #1 seed, we are in a lot of trouble.

Little in sports is more overrated than bulletin board material. But hey, it's something else to talk about.

A&M and Connecticut's front court could cause UCLA some problems ... Duke is also a difficult match-up for them.

They start off in Anaheim, so that's a free pass to the Sweet 16.

Somewhere near Park Row and Fielder, some kids at are talking about being disrespected and making history by beating 1-seeded Memphis. News clippings will be hung, heads will be nodded, chests will poke out, hands will slap chests, and knuckles will be bumped. Then, they'll take their beating like all the previous 16 seeds in the tournament.


This isn't limited to college. My favorites are about Tiger. As if he didn't want to win another major until some european tour-spare ran his mouth.

all depends. Sometimes it works great. If it's more media contrived, probably not.

Hate to be rational but...

UCLA = Much better than last year

TAMU = Not nearly as good as last year

If I weren't an Aggie I would easily have UCLA getting out of the first two rounds. They are playing basically at home and their first game is a virtual scrimmage.

Now, I am an Aggie... SO BRING IT ON!!!
