The question was not how often a 9 has ever beaten a 1, how many times a 9 has beaten a 1 seed, what the odds are of a 9 beating a 1 seed, or how likely a 9 is to beat a 1 seed in the tournament.
I expect ridiculous questions to be answered with simple answers. If someone takes offense to the answer, perhaps they should do some research on this new thing we are using called the internet. I can tell by how offended you are to my response that you often post and defend childish questions and have your feelings hurt easily by the elementary response.
I laugh at your witty attempt to change the subject of the original thread. Your lack of understanding of the moon analogy shows a lack of thought provoking intellect, however I do appreciate your honesty that you are unable to think of anything at all in response. If you ever think of anything to say, please don't let me know as I was making the same faulty argument that you were attempting to make in a different context. I'll keep it simple, you are wrong. Again, keeping things simple, the lack of response on your behalf proves the fact that I am right. In an attempt to kill two birds with one stone for those of you keeping score at home, a 16 seed has never beaten a 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.
