Thinking we probably are is fine, but being completely certain with basketball yet to play is absolutely stupid. Fine, I'll answer. It's because you are so completely "certain" that those thinking the team is going to the NIT are idiots, morons, etc. that you feel compelled to start multiple threads about it. At best, you are being a hypocrite, at worst you are coming off like a jackass.

Fact is, it is plainly obvious you are a tool and everyone here knows it. You are approaching Rivalries quality with your posts.

So what you're saying is these folks gave an opinion that is as valid as yours. Quite a profound observation.

The NIT is a great accomplishment considering the squad of spares and team cancers we are putting on the court.

Mark is doing a great job and exceeding expectations, even with the worst team talent wise playing D1 ball.

Multiple threads? Link to evidence supporting this notion please. Also, how exactly am I being a hypocrite? Do you understand what that term means? Let me spell it out for you - those that are certain we will make the NIT are morons because we are still in the race for the Dance. That's not a difficult concept, yet no one seems to understand it.

Also, you also seem to try and call me out and demean my intellect. Honestly, there are a great many ways to attack me (the "tool" comment was a perfectly valid example), yet you insist on focusing on this one area. I can promise you my friend, you're mediocre attempts at rivaling me in that arena are pathetic and merely exposing you as the unoriginal mental midget that you are.

Actually you made another mistake that I didn't bring up. That was supposed to get you to think about bringing up petty crap that has no substance. You got all excited about beating Tech and ran over to beat your chest. Then we play an atrocious game against OU and some folks make you eat some crow. Move along. Folks are entitled to "know" we are going to the NIT. It's a valid possibility.

You're right. Nobody knows what's going to happen. No one. But this is a message board. Folks come here to discuss possibilities. If we can't express opinions, there wouldn't be much to say. This place would be pretty freaking boring if we just reposted the box score after every game and nothing else.

I do not disagree. In fact, there are few stronger proponents of free speech than me. However, this argument only adds to my point: I never said these people didn't have a right to post, I'm simply discussing the stupidity of such people.

Truth be told, I'm not feeling great about our chances of making the Dance. However, there is still a chance, and as a fan, I will not give up on that chance. However, those that refuse to recognize this possibility are not only out of touch with reality but also are pathetic fans who should be ashamed.

Definition of "opinion" - belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge. Being "certain" that the Ags won't make the NIT is "position knowledge," yet it is impossible to have such knowledge at this point because there is a chance of making the dance.
