1. has anyone used the west campus garage for a game this year? Last year it was event parking and I could pay when I went in and they opened the doors at the end of the game.

I honestly don't know how to use the automated system. At Koldus I always go to the window and pay a person. But if it hails I need to be under cover since my aged transport only had liability since it is so old comp would not pay much even if damaged.

How do you work the automated thing--do you have to walk all the way to the part where the elevators are and then does it take 20's or a credit card? Do I need coins. I seriously have never used a garage that did not have a PERSON when you paid to get out.

And then does it take waiting for everyone to scan their card on exit--if so that might add a ton of time getting out of the garage?

2. If they don't have the west garage open, do they run a bus on weekends from Koldus to Reed? And does Koldus have a person in it on weekends?

3. I usually listen to books on tape, so now this is about radio stations. If I am needing good radio weather coverage to know the best route to take home, which BCS radio station--with numbers hopefully to find it--had the best weather coverage?

Sorry, should have asked on Ags Only. Actually I am more the age of a grandmother than a mother.

I could spend hours scanning for a station and NOT find the one that is best for getting weather reports--some stations are mainly canned music and don't have live staffs on weekends.

I think what Nichols is trying to say is that you just press a button at the entrance of WCG and it gives you a ticket, then you pay on your way out.

But HOW do you pay. I have ONLY used places with tellers you can walk up to and pay when you leave. IS there a pay station I have never found. At football games we pay a flat rate going in and they just open the gates going out.

I haven't used the west campus garage, but here is what I can offer...

If it's like koldus and the library garage, there are pay stations located in the garage (usually in a corner). You take the ticket to it. When you insert it, it'll tell you how much to pay. I don't recall if it takes credit/debit cards or just cash and coins. I'd bring some cash just in case. After paying, the station will eject your ticket. Take this with you and insert it at the gate as you leave.

As far as weather on the Radio, I can't help you much here. I live in CS, but when I'm driving around and trying to find out info, I can never seem to find it.

i went to the LSU game this year and parked in the West Campus garage (didn't realize that it wasn't the event parking any more). There was no attendent. The entrance machine gave me a ticket and I thought (like you), oh crap I'm going to be waiting in line to pay the parking fee at the machine after the game is over.

But, we we left the gates were open, and everyone just left without paying. Don't know if this is normal or they were still adjusting.

Yeah, that's happened to me before, also....no need to pay.

You can pay with a card or cash at the Automated Machines. They are located in the four corners of the garage on the main floor near the stairs. You can pay with cash or credit.

NOTE: The games we've been to this year have had some of the gates open and some of them down. Drive around after the game until you find an open entrance. PS: Keep your ticket just in case.

As has been said, the pay stations are located by the elevators, you just slide your ticket in and it tells you how much you owe. Then you slide you credit/debit card or enter in the appropriate amount of cash. I know it takes 1s 5s and 10s,I don't know for sure if they take 20s. For a 3 hour parking it should be around 5 dollars.

In terms of weather radio, I know that 1620 AM is talk news radio and they do periodic weather updates and if there is an emergency message or anything that is where it will be.
