Hopefully we can remove our bias and look at things rationally:

Here are the odds (Kenpom) that each team wins out and their projected # of conf wins:
KU 46% 13.32
KSU 3.5% 12.79
tu 2.8% 11.55
A&M 3.4% 10.6

We are projected to lose in Austin and @Reed vs KU (40% chance and 34% chance). If you assume we win both of these games (which is what everyone who rooted for the sips last night is thinking) it looks like this (% win the rest and expected wins):
KU 69.7% 12.66
KSU 3.5% 12.79
tu 5% 10.95
A&M 25% 11.86

So even with 2 huge wins over tu and KU, we'd end up third in the conference; HOWEVER, we've got a 1 in 4 shot at winning the other 5 games, and ending up with 13 wins.

So starting with the assumption that we beat tu and KU (which is necessary if we want to win the conf) we've got a 25% shot to get the trophy.

If you want to say that there's no way we can win in austin and beat KU, then fine you can sit there and whine about those of us who were pulling for the sips last night. But for those who want to have hope, I'm telling you there's a chance <insert dumb and dumber picture>

Dude, read a little bit of the board before you post. This has been rehashed all day and all last night long.

so if we pull off 2 upsets, we have a 1 in 4 chance of winning the big 12??!! yes!!

And if we win the first two rounds of the ncaa tourney, maybe we have a 1 in 5 chance of making the final four??!! yes!!

And yes Germans bomb moon.
