Pretty darn good especially since he's not shy & has made 61 attempts. His 4 3s against Kansas were a difference maker. I'm sure Coach Turgeon is aware of this, so I hope to see our big men challenge those attempts rather than let him jack up open shots from long range.

Does help that he is left wide open. Good shooter though.

The biggest difference is that with an actual offensive threat outside of 3ft, he's a much bigger impact on the game from a defensive standpoint. DJ at 10 ft isn't going to draw any defensive attention. HUGE difference. Another reason BD has more value to the team.

don't think that his early foul trouble against A&M wasn't a good thing. hopefully that happens again.

he's an athletic guy. most people don't realize this but he's got good speed and acceleration for a 6'10" guy. he doesn't have good straight-up strength, so joseph jones ought to be able to overpower him and score a ton, but jones will have to stay on his toes to make sure he gets on atchley to keep him from making 3s, and doesn't let atchley speed in for a backdoor cut and dunk either.

not only can Achtley knock down the threes but Damion James as well. He hit two of them last night and on of the shots he had a guy in his face.

He's improved a lot since I watched him earlier in the season. Any team that underestimates him could get burned, aka Kansas.
