A question to ponder... three bigs and two guards?

Just wondering... how would our team do if we played Jones, Davis, and Jordan on the inside and then Carter on the outside and alternate Kirk and Sloan on the outside?

Would that be good offensively yet not worth the risk defensively?

Just wondering...

you got it backwards, it would be good defensively, but there wouldn't be any spacing on offense.

EDIT: Actually, it would probably just suck both ways.

It would be horrible on both ends of the court, you're wasting a person on offense and you'd be slow as hell on defense. Not to mention that you'd fould every .5 seconds.

Are there any other teams that have loaded the paint this way and ended up being successful?

Well, I could see it being good for rebounding and the inside game, bad for the outside game, and bad when it comes to guarding the perimeter on defense.

Kansas State somewhat comes to mind, but they have the bigs that can shoot from the outside well (Beasely and Walker).

I'm fairly certain that nobody has ever put three guys that play like that on the court at the same time and been succesful unless it was like in 1960 or something before the 3 pt line was invented
