He's not very heavy for a big man. Don't be fooled by his shooting, they push him around when he plays defense.

He would break into the lineup as a guard/forward before he made it as a big man on our team.

No, I don't think that he would because as some have mentioned he doesn't really fit in with what we do offensively and he isn't as good defensively as BD. Conversely, I don't think that BD would start for the sips... they are too very different players.

Longhorn you should know that almost all second rounders don't sniff a roster. He is a really short version of Trejan Langdon and that dude spent very little time in the NBA.

Very simple answer to this one: Because our offense needs our big men to be post players, and Atchley is just not that great of a post player. He fits in very well with what you do and he played a great game tonight, but it is not a crazy statement to say that he wouldn't start for us.

atchley would be a nice option at the 5, imo.

i'd play him in a second over deandre. kid's very servicable and can extend a D with his range. has stepped up this year with D as well.
