The commentator in the tu-Kansas game just commented about the crowd still standing. You can see on TV that EVERYONE, not just students are still standing.

Why can't we do this? I've been to plenty of other games that have traditions like this or other.

-Standing until the first home team basket (both halves)
-Standing for the last X (2-5) minutes of the game

They are sitting as I'm watching the game now, but I have notice them standing. Much more than I stood at the tu or LSU game this year.

They are also losing now. We were sitting when we were up by 15 against our biggest rivals.

Agreed. But the principle is that it would be nice to see a little more participation from ALL attendees at the games during crunch time. But we are MUCH MUCH MUCH louder ALL the time.

Tickets on Stubhub for this game were going for WELL below the face value of $15.

dont give us too much credit. we always have treated basketball second hand, and our alumni take up too many of the TV seats so you can always see people sitting down. come on though, Kansas is a sure fire #1 seed in the tourney, who doesnt get up for that

Just got back from the game. Crowd was amazing today. It is about time.

just got back from the game... loved the atmosphere. i had never been to the FEC before, and my horn coworkers got a nice laugh when i talked about the crowd. they assured me that it's never like that for any other game.

it will be like that again in a week

Next week has been and still is a hot ticket.

I was shocked at how easily you could get a ticket for the Kansas/UT game for $10 or less.

Maybe some places they were cheap. They were asking lots before the game. I sold 2 lowers for $90 a piece.

The crowd was really great tonight. Our OOC crowds are a joke. But we usually fill the place for Big 12 games. Tonights crowd got there early and was into the game throughout. I was pretty impressed. Should be the same next week.

I'll also add that I expected a LOT more KU fans. They travel well, have large alumni groups in Texas and had one of the biggest visiting team crowds when we blew them out two years ago. But it was different tonight. Not to many KU fans and they were not loud at all.
