They are 20-1 with a SOS in the 80s. There RPI is in the top 10 as of today. Their only loss came to St. Mary's in the very first game of the season. Last time I checked, St. Mary's is a solid top 25 team.

They won't lose in the first round.

They lost to st. mary's in the second game and their only ok wins are against wichita state, Iowa State and Iowa. they did smoke iowa state at home. I don't understand how their rpi is in the top ten. I guess smoking all of those mids does it. They lost to the only ranked team they played, and that team lost to illinois state, san diego and got smoked by the sips.

who has beaten Michigan, Virginia Tech, Texas Tech, Ohio State, and Florida State in nonconference. I have a lot if respect for that nonconference schedule. If you are in a weak conference schedule tough teams out of conference!

Drake plays an fast paced, shot the hell outta the three type game. That sometimes spells disaster for mid major teams in the tournament when you cant have someone create in a half court set.

Then again, it can work wonders if you get hot...see gonzaga in the early years.

im actually going to the Drake/Missouri State game in a couple weeks to check them out, but i haven't seen them play yet and who knows if they're still ranked by then... the rest of the MVC sucks this year so one loss to them will nearly knock them out of the polls...

You list that they've beaten Michigan, but Michigan only has 6 wins.

It's really kind of hit or miss when you schedule BCS schools. Beating Iowa and Iowa State, all in all, isn't that bad.

Drake is doing well in the MVC which is way down this year compared the the past few years. They don't have any wins that impress me. I'd love to get them in the second round of the tourney.
