I'll admit I find him annoying at times. But you have to love his passion for the game. It's obvious he loves the game of college basketball, the various venue and it's personality and atmosphere.

I remember when Marv Albert had his problems and left the NBA broadcast - Marv was a guy who loved basketball (longtime voice of the NY Knicks) and it showed. Few things in sports any worse than listening to Bob Costa's completely uninspired call of what should have been Micheal Jordan's last shot of his career to win an NBA final.

This dude has held college basketball hostage for over 20 years. Can't stand him and have thought this was the best year ever w/o him on the telecasts....granted, I don't want to wish anyone harm or illness and glad he's doing better.

He's too much schtick.
Same for John Madden.
