I think Turgeon and team have earned some well-deserved rest after five straight wins with the last two on the road. Several teams ahead of us will lose while we prepare for Oklahoma State. I guess it will feel like being a Big Televen or Pac 10 team during football season... watching teams ahead of them lose in conference championship games while they rest and move up in the polls.

If by "several teams" do you mean Texas? Kstate and Kansas aren't losing their next 2 games. Those are the 3 teams ahead of us. Or are you referring to teams ahead of us in the rankings?

we will need our rest since we have a short layover until the big monday game in austin.

he means teams across the country, not just the big 12.

We have a short turnaround after playing OSU this Saturday. We play the sips the next Monday night.

Aggies and Longhorns both play Saturday games right before we play each other. Theirs is an away game at Baylor while ours is home against Okie State. The week off and home game against OSU puts us in good physical and mental shape heading into Austin. I like our chances a lot but expect we'll be an underdog, and rightly so, in Austin.

there are only 3 teams ahead of us in the Big 12. the OP said "some teams". i thought it was fairly obvious that he meant ranked teams.

I did mean nationally...sorry for the confusion.

No. 9 Michigan State at No. 23 Purdue
No. 9 Michigan State at No. 12 Indiana
No. 14 Wisconsin at No. 12 Indiana
No. 18 Notre Dame at No. 17 Connecticut (CT is 4 votes behind us)
