Gant played LIGHTS OUT on both sides of the ball today. She had 25 points and played incredible defense. She shot 8-12 from the field and 9-10 from the line. 6 rebounds, 3 steals and a blocked shot. I was VERY impressed by her performance today.

18 of the 25 came in the 1st half. Blair said postgame that that was one of the best all-around halves he's ever seen by a team as a whole.

She would have had much more than 7 in the 2nd half but Texas mixed things up and had a double-team on her the entire 2nd.

how about Starks playing most of the game looking sick as a dog... i love her attitude, heart and guts. i kinda wish that Atunrase could've contributed more so that Takia could've sat more. there were some hustle plays that she just couldn't make today.

Starks sucked it up BIG time today. Blair said postgame that as of 3:00 yesterday she was not going to play this game.

Somebody asked her yesterday/this morning if Tom Brady would sit out the Super Bowl because of the flu. Solid job today from her.

Starks had alot of heart. But not a great stats game for her

Good job by Aqua keeping things running and getting the ball to Gant.

I also wish Atunrase was playing better. Ever since her injury she's never rebounded to her old self. I used to love to watch her play b/c she was so good. She made it look so easy and effortless. The games I've watched her play she shows flashes of her old self but not like before.

I wish her the best after basketball. She is a good athlete and from what I hear, a good person. Maybe she'll be able to find a few good games before she graduates.

Way to go Aggies! We are proud of each of you and the season you've had thus far. Here's to continued success and a deep run in the tournament next month. Whoop!

Atunrase was honored at the game today with some academic award. She has a 3.1 GPR and is quite the student.
