They play this week. Any thoughts?

I think OU wins. OU should be able to abuse them down low.

If tu doubles like we did, I figure OU playing at home will make them pay with better perimeter shooting.

The sips have shown that they have probelms with strong front courts such as OU. This and the game being in Norman makes me pick OU by 14.

Dont forget that texas has the greatest player in the country on their team.

Oklahoma has probably the worst home court advantage of any big 12 team. It wouldn't surprise me to see Texas get a win in this game.

Students and fans will show up for tu, just like they do here. OU wins.

I think tu will use the formula we used to stop Griffin (double him).. tu has better guards, I think they win in a tight one.

Should be a good game but I think ou wins.

this is a big game for the horns. They have had a fairly soft conference schedule to date.

Still haven't played KU or KSU, and 4 more games vs. OU, A&M, and Baylor. Plus a trip to Lubbock

So far Texas has played ten tournament teams from a year ago (7-3)

They have the #9 SOS (RPI) which is tops in the conference. By comparison A&M is #78.

Texas is 5-3 vs. the RPI top 50 with wins over #1 Tennessee (neutral), @#10 UCLA, #23 St. Marys, #36 Baylor, and #50 Oral Roberts. Two very close losses @#8 Michigan St. and against #14 Wisconsin.

Texas may lose to OU but it will not be because of a soft schedule.

No Big 12 conference game is soft this year. Granted, they have a particularly daunting schedule coming up...

But given their pre-season schedule, I am inclined to say Texas will be in good shape going into March.... even with a few losses down the stretch.

OU by 8...

small note...the horns have had a soft conference schedule to date and only posted a 4-2 record. Any Big 12 team that hasn't played KU or KSU yet has had a soft start to their conference season. Has nothing to do with non-conference schedule. Get it straight horns.

also...if OU loses this game, the 8-8 Big team to the NCAA's theory will be tested.
