No offense to Student Bonfire, but given the choice between going to an unofficial event in preparation of an A&M sporting event, or going to an actual A&M sporting event...

if i was there (i'm 1500 miles away in MD), no brainer: Bonfire!!

I'd hate to miss a BB game, but Bonfire is once a year! not to mention the most obvious reasons which i wont enumerate cause i'm prolly pissing in the wind talking about them.....you either get it, or you dont. these are your Bonfire years, they go fast! you should support it and continue to BUILD THE HELL! you will not be sorry! especially decades from now, believe me, you will say "thanks Pure Aggie for the advice, i can't believe i almost didnt go!!!"

while i was a student there, we had the TALLEST Aggie Bonfire, 109', and building Aggie Bonfire in the day was more redass that you younguns can imagine! regardless, this looks like a pretty redass Aggie Bonfire to me!!!!!!

if you have never worked on both a pre 99 bonfire and a post 99 bonfire, then do not call it fake... when the old ags come out, they love it... in fact, the pot i currently wear was given to me by an ag that built bonfire from 88-91.

No, its not as big as it used to be, and the band/yell leaders wont be there. But if you ask anyone that has ever worked on a bonfire they will tell you the same thing

"Its not about burning it, its about building it. We only burn the damn thing to clear the field for next year."

What do you think about everyone taking a bic lighter to the game and lighting it up in acknowledgement of bonfire right after the opening kickoff? This would show your burning desire to beat tu.
