Game. They aren't even sure bonfire will burn due to the burn ban and lack of a permit.
Really if you say that you dont know what your talking about. I have worked on both and seen the old ones burn. The only difference is that every log touches the ground and its not on campus.
There's a burn ban in Robertson County. May not be a bonfire. Might as well go to the game.

Page 1...when I wake up at around noon tomorrow, this one should be a doozy. Good night!
Been to 4 on campus and 2 off. This isnt real bonfire, and it will not be until reinstated ON campus with the Yell Leaders, Band, and former students there and is held on thankgiving night. Since this is not likely to happen, student bonfire is the best we can do. I choose basketball

That was actually me posting on my roommates name. If it's true about the burn ban that will obviously make my decision easier.
Also, I realize that this is probably going to be a very biased poll, but go ahead and give me hell for even considering not going to the game.

It's people like this who will never let A&M become great again!!! OLD BONFIRE IS DEAD...SO ADOPT THE NEW ONE!!!
not when you schedule it during another major sporting event, does that not defeat the purpose of bonfire? making students choose to skip out on something great happening at A&M

Okay again, dumb post. The bonfire will not happen, and will never be back on campus, even if every Northside dorm resident that goes and picks up scrap wood every day insead of going to class signs a petition. Get over it. Football season is over...OVER...who cares. Long live the new basketball school!!

Definitely go to the game...but don't put down this new bonfire...they should schedule for the night before again.
Up until last year...we really didn't have basketball to look to so this is also a new thing. I would hope that eventually the new bonfire will be adopted and it will be on the night before or more during the week.
