...freezing my scrolling all the time? Maybe it's a dumb question, but at least a few times per day, my screen gets completely filled with a Twitter link and I can't scroll. I end up just swiping repeatedly until the screen goes into a galactic portal and puts me at some random spot in the thread. TIA for your help!

Yes, if on a mobile, and the tweet takes the whole screen, you get stuck. It is annoying.

I hit the BACK button and then go back into the thread and fling down on the screen to get past the Tweets.

Definitely don't click near the tweet or you whole screen freezes

This has come up other times, short answer: they are working on a fix but not easy, if it bothers you then you can turn off the auto load embedded objects in the account settings.

Yea, I think the easy answer is to turn off the embeds. Particularly if you are on a mobile with a slower connection or a spammed thread where posters just trot out tweet after tweet. Or block posters who do that.

Ive never had any issues running Firefox with ad blockers. If you dont want X loading, you can actually block it as needed too

If the Twitter link fills my screen I can usually scroll if I put my thumb on the texags ribbon at the top of the page. I dont get very far, but I can at least move down until I can clear the tweet.

Im on a galaxy and found if I touch the very side of the screen I can scroll.

It is annoying
I thought it was a feature not a bug they rolled out.

Very, very seldom do I use mobile unless I have to so pardon the dumb question but on desktop, pictures and tweets don't take a whole page, so how can we resize it?

Why are you trolling? It's been an issue for months and nothing has been done about it. Using chrome on android.

The only way to avoid the issue is to carefully touch the screen outside of the embedded tweet and keep the screen moving. If the screen stops scrolling with the embedded object filling the screen it locks up the browser.

I think you misunderstand.

The twitter links screw up the thread. For some reason, it'll just get stuck, refreshing back to the same twitter post, and you cant read the rest of the thread.

He's not complaining about reading twitter posts...but the fact they often screw up the mobile app.

Definitely an issue on a mobile with the ap, otherwise not an issue. It would make life less frustrating if it were fixed because I like the auto load feature to preview the tweets. Definitely a first world problem though.

I had problems all the time on Android when using the mobile version of Texags on Chrome. The best solution was the one suggested above to set the embeds to "manual." I still have issues from time to time, but not the consistent freezing like before.
