When old topics from your watchlist are replied to

When someone posts on an old thread I have in my watchlist and I click on it, it goes to the very first post in the thread instead of the new post. It only happens on older threads. Is this intentional? It's been like this for a really long time, so I'm guessing it is??

This is by design, as an attempt to balance utility with resource consumption. After a period of time (I believe it is based on inactivity in the discussion), we no longer track your progress in given topic.

I will ask the team to explore extending the progress tracking for topics in your watchlist. I like this.

Thanks so much! Extending the time would be great. Even if it is only extended a little, I'll take what I can get!
