You have to look at the entered code to see it. The easiest way is to hit the reply.

This has a couple of advantages. If there is some word that needs to be entered, but is displayed incorrectly because of the filters -- Fukushima, for example -- it is displayed correctly.

Also, some people will quote text but instead of entering their response unquoted, they just intersperse the quote with their own text all in the quote box. This should make that more difficult.

So, yea or nay?

I can see one obvous issue here. If you encode the thread topic, you see the thread topic encoded on the tab bar.
