I have noticed that forum signatures blocking does not work --throws a browser JS popup error in Chrome. I would be in favor of eliminating forum signatures entirely as most of them are political in nature or a total waste of space at best.

The "Hide all forum signatures" option on the account settings page is only intended to affect your own posts. It overrides any post that you've checked "Show signature" and hides it anyway.

Good to know, but it is still broken and unnecessary.
