I've cleared histories, caches, etc and still get these ads automatically playing audio and weird scripts that make the site virtually unusable. I also get mobile messages like others have posted stating I've won a gift card or my machine is infected and so on.
My popup blocker seems to be blocking all of these, but here are a handful of redirects that it is trying. After the page loads it just constantly tries to do these redirects. There are a few more in addition to these. Hopefully this can be some help

We're definitely listening and actively working on the issue. We made some significant changes this afternoon that should take affect within the hour. Let us know if things improve.
I have not had the redirect in more than a week. Once it stopped for me it stopped cold. iOS phone and iPad both.

Nope. I'm getting this stupid Google malware redirect that just automatically takes me to a different site.
Got pop up "won a free gift card" ads several times this morning again. Mobile site viewed with Chrome on Android.
I hate to ask, but how long has this been going on and you still can't get to the bottom of it? At some point the reputation of this site will start to be diminished, you'll lose subscribers, bottom line negatively impacted, etc.
Maybe consider bringing in some outside consultant help on this one? In addition to that, maybe bring in a cybersecurity SME who can do a deep dive into the back-end just to be sure you don't have a larger security issue going on? Seems to me it would be money well spent to eliminate an issue that has the potential to start getting the site blacklisted, both in people's minds and by automated tools.

This has happened to me during the same time frame as the others here on both android phone and more recently on my computer. I googled the problem, installed malwarebytes on both computer and android. That seemed to take care of the problem on the computer but while on TexAgs I will occasionally get a notification from malwarebytes that shows up as a popup that says:

Site detected as malicious. If you don't want to block the website, you can exclude....

Didn't happen at all yesterday. Saw your post and thought, "well, maybe they fixed it." I clicked the link to go to the OB. Page loaded and then boom! I won an Amazon gift card.
I noticed one of the ads popped up while browsing Facebook, and thought it relevant to post that here as well. Android on a Samsung. Maybe something infected my phone.
I'm also on a Samsung/Android and today and yesterday got the pop ups as well. I thought it was my phone too but now I don't think so. Only happens on TA.
I'll try to remember to copy the link next time.
I got an Amazon pop up very first click on TA this morning
I have no idea how walmart and amazon stay in business with all these gift cards they give out to thousands every day.

i know you are kidding, best rest-assured, the ads are not from walmart, amazon, or any other legitimate advertiser.
Google, even in all their genius, has not been able to track down how these ads are bypassing their filters.
We are daily taking further measures, and while I feel we've seen some improvement, we are continuing to pursue further resolution, including outside consultants and ad filtering services.
