I have an older computer and the ads on TA have started to completely overwhelm my browser to the point I have to do a hard shutdown. This just started 7/26. As a paying member, why am I inundated with ads?

You shouldn't be getting so many ads that you have to shutdown your computer. It's possible we have a rogue ad on our site that's consuming a ton of resources on your computer. Or it could be some malware on your computer.

Is there a particular ad that you're seeing when it happens? If so, what is the ad for?

If it is an ad in our system that we can identify, then we will be able to block it from our site.

I have scanned my computer and found no malware.

I will check to see what ad it is the next time it happens.

From time to time, I have to reload a page because an ad doesn't play nice.

Is it fair to ask why ads are served to paying members? And a lot of ads at that. I guess I can understand the site sponsors, but a lot of the crap I get is AdSense.

I normally use ad blockers, but I needed to spend some time remembering what the internet is like for the typical user.
