I have been getting many Certificate Security Warnings stating that the website - texags.com is not the registered owner?

IE11 and Mozilla. OS Windows 7 Professional.

Then other problems ensue. Is this a real problem, or is my OS a mess?

I have not heard of any certificate problems. If you can get to the certificate details, check it out and make sure it has the serial number 27865766af75eb.

I think it might be one of your advertisers? It never seems to be a real threat. It comes and goes.

As deep as I could dig, it is not your serial number, it looks like a payment processing site. Rapid SSL / VeriSign.
