I know it got fixed at one point, but something has happened to where when I hit reply and start typing the cursor doesn't go anywhere and I don't see any words. I am able to type without issue on the mobile site.

If I remember correctly the fix was to push it the post to a separate page rather than the pop up that is on the full site. It looks like it is getting the pop up so maybe it isn't defaulting to the correct page?

I am using the Chrome iOS app.
