Smiley Face emoticon appears when typing ":d"

Was trying to type link address and when I put the colon and letter d next to each other, automatically changes to smiley emoticon in web address. Tried on other forums and things but only happens on this one. Settings need changing or what? Example below (not real address). thx

Below is when I type Texags colon domain dot com.

Well, here is the actual link I was trying to post for someone on home improvement board about sidewalks and them wanting to be able to look at actual city code.

It is weird link but that last part should be: =amlegal colon dallas_tx

As you can see, it inserts smiley face in place of the "colon d"

A check box to not parse smileys shouldn't be too hard to implement.

Was suggesting a fix to staph. Other forums have a check box you can check to keep smileys from parsing (posting) from things such as your link.
