My mom was a Miracle Whip person. I don't think I ever had real mayonnaise until I was around 16 and got a job at a MrGatti's and tried their submarine sandwich with real mayo. Never really cared for MW that much. Found out I really liked mayo though..

1 When I went to Greece, they serve potatoes with every meal, no ketchup in sight
2 As a kid, we always had mayo on pear salads.

Is that the salad with the canned pear half with cheddar cheese and mayo mixed together stuffed into the core? My grandparents used to serve that to us back in the 70s.

Yes! It was so good. My mom prepared it that way in the 60's and I still do it today.

Depends completely on the sang:

"Spicy" italian meats = mustard, preferably brown spicy mustard
Turkey and ham = mayo
Grilled chicken = honey mustard

Leftover meat sangs, like pot roast or meatloaf = mayo (add horseradish to roast beef sang)

Burger - Mustard or both, but never just mayo

Hot dog / sausage = come on, no need to even say it

I don't think you can possess shame if you're going to stoop to that.

More like rarito since I got it from a Mexican buddy and not some filthy Italian.

I just know that I am creating a list of all the imposters misspelling ketchup. When the revolution comes, we will find you.

They are quite literally shameless, in fact. Might be impossible for them to feel such an emotion even.

Elotes the Mexican Street Corn makes excellent use of mayonnaise. We have been making that quite a bit lately.

The only mustard I like is Dusseldorf...Koops is a good brand.

When I was elementary school young, we would visit my Grandparents in Northern Wisconsin. We also would invariably stop at an little old bar (so old, that it was stand-up only at the bar) in New London that served hamburgers with grilled onions and...Dusseldorf mustard.

Still like that pairing...and Dusseldorf is perfect with brats, dogs, pork, ham and roast beef, too

But mayo is still King...and my preferred brand is Chosen Avocado...not the Keto stuff.

DAM, never felt so personally attacked! ketchup haters all up in here!

ketchup is king. i can put that sh*t on anything.

I LOVE the hottest of hot sauces but once in a while, a lil ketchup goes on the scrambled eggs.

Toast + crispy fresh bacon + ketchup was my young poor ass's comfort food.

Mustard on dogs.

Burger: AMERICAN (DAMMIT) cheese, mustard, ketchup, pickles, lettuce, tomato... F YO ONION.

MW > Mayo too. #besttunaever
