I've only been to Houston once in the past 30 yrs but are heading to the new Meow Wolf on 12/30-1/1.
There are nine of us, 4 adults and 5 older teens. Need one Tuesday Brunch place and one Monday night dinner place.

Looking for something uniquely Houston, whatever that may mean to you. Generally we prefer something lively, either in flavor or vibe. Don't mind higher-end but not some place that would be lost on the teens.

Whatcha got?!

I was going to recommend Nancy's Hustle for dinner, but they're closed on Mondays. Xochi could fit the bill if you want unique.

Sure would be a lot easier to recommend a place for dinner if you narrow downed a specific type of place such as seafood, steak etc.

Kata Robata is great if you like sushi. Taste of Texas would be a hit for teenagers as far as a steak reastaurant.

As far as brunch, those can places can easily be searched online and have details so you can pick the certain type of place you like or location. Sounds like you already found a nice one.

Do you mind traveling? I always recommend Kenny and Ziggy's for brunch/breakfast, especially with teens, but it's on Post Oak near the Galleria, which is a drive from downtown.

Currently eating my leftovers from yesterday. First time I've ever been and it didn't disappoint. Need to get over there to try the breakfast.

I'd call it a Houston experience. Would you agree?

Is that the only location? I just assumed it was an East coast chain. Definitely would recommend to others. Great menu and the cheesecake was fantastic. I'm going to throw it into my weekly rotation.

Winnie's is a fun spot in midtown area.
