Time to put that bad boy in the fridge if you haven't done it already.

Per USDA recommendations, 24 hours for every 4-5 lbs

So 4-12 lbs: 1-3 days

12-16: 3-4 days

16-20: 4-5 days

20-24: 5-6 days

I'm hoping none of y'all have 20+ lb turkeys, or you're already behind.

20 pounder here. Put in the fridge yesterday. Solid as a rock. I know they saw thaw in the fridge, but I'll probably put it in cold water in the sink tomorrow. Then brining it 24 hours will thaw it the rest of the way.

Thankfully my son and his wife are doing the baked turkey and a smoked or fried turkey and all the sides except.... I'm making the much requested southern cornbread dressing that I've been doing for many years.
