I'm hosting a whiskey night on 11/15/24. Will probably start around 7pm. I usually host one every few months and it's been a while since my last one so I figured it was time LOL! I'm planning on making this a bigger event and wanted any local bourbon board Ags to feel welcome. I'll have the fire pit going and there's bar and deck seating available (hopefully the weather cooperates). Will probably serve some brisket, etc. Will batch some cocktails as well. Have lots of ideas about what to do for this. Think I'll have a Make your own Old Fashioned/Sazerac bar. Then pull bottles in different categories bourbon, rye, scotch, etc. for sampling. Trying to decide on the batched cocktails. Pretty certain I'll try to duplicate the bourbon slush that Moonshine Bar & Grill does.

I'll be smoking a brisket and making homemade roasted tomatillo salsa along with tortillas for brisket tacos. Probably going to do some smoked queso as well. And of course some rare allocated bourbon and tequila. Anyone who went on the Garrison Brothers pick can attest to the allocated bourbon and tequila that I brought. They can also vouch for the brisket!

Just a friendly reminder that my whiskey night party is this Friday. We'll get started around 7pm. It's a come and go affair so if you can't make it at 7 feel free to stop by later in the evening.
