Depends on your mule. I think all of them take some kind of online payment. The BCS mule prefers Venmo.

Most of the mules have different ways. I do venmo/paypal/zelle.
Basically we(mules) will..
1. collect all the money
2. go to OLC /whatever liquor store on release or right after
3. pay them for X bottles (where X is what the city requested)
4. Take them back and distribute them
People are always welcome to come to release. (OLC in Austin in this case), but most don't travel which is why we have mules

I'm ok with it if it means I can grab a 2nd bottle. But at $175/ea it's a steeper cost of entry than most barrel picks I imagine.
The cost we knew was going to be a higher entry point than previous... however its still cheaper than what TW or others sell the GB Cask Strength picks at.
There's a strong anti GB bias around here. Their loss.
You should just let me buy all three.

I was considering it but I got the vibe from reading the bourbon thread that GB wasn't any good. $175 for Texas whiskey seems a lot (to me). I'm a newb still. Is it $175 bc it's made in Texas?

General Texas bourbon does get talked down a lot. GB is always on the more expensive side, and their base products are not good IMO. Their specific single barrels and limited releases are much better. These are high proof, and I'd assume they drink on the hot side, but there's some good depth in their better barrels.
