Tell me about what is best to do in Air Fryer? Looking at just the 4 at. What acceptors will I need? THANKS

It's basically quicker than an oven. I can throw frozen french fries in there and they are done in 10 min, vs. 8 min just to preheat the oven, then 10 to bake.

Good for reheating anything that you want to crisp up and not be soggy.. again fries (takes maybe 3 minutes to reheat to as good as fresh.

It'll come with recipes/ideas for different things.
Ours came with a tumble wheel thing, a basket, two shelves, and a skewer type thing for shishkabobs I guess.

I borrowed one to try out not too long ago and wasn't impressed. If I had one, I don't know if I would ever use it for much of anything.

We have this Breville and it's been great. As Velvet alludes to, it's a small convection oven that's great for heating food or crisping up food that was previously fried but don't try and actually use it as a fryer. You can't fry food with air.

We use ours all the time. It's the ninja 10 in 1 so I use it as a toaster, an oven etc. kids breakfasts like bagels and French toast sticks and egos is heated up in it as well as I love roasting small stuff in there without having to heat up my entire kitchen using the oven. I've never used it as a "fryer"

The other day, someone bought an air fryer off of facebook for use at the office. So far, it is just sitting on a shelf.

While we do have a kitchen at the office, it isn't all that big. I can't imagine where they would even put it.

They're great for reheating pizza.

My beef with the air fryer is that people just say, 'throw it in the air fryer and it is good.' Well, nobody ever says what temp to set the stupid thing, nor how long. Those two things are kind of important. It isn't like a microwave.

I heard that if you do fries in them it has to be a single layer and then have to toss them and put them back in. Most of the trays seem small. ?

I'm incredibly guilty of this and for mine, it's true. Single layer with several stirs. It drives me crazy because normally if I'm doing fries we have friends over, cooking a lot of food and I don't want to be stuck inside stirring fries when everyone else is outside.

Yeah. That sucks. We do have an air fryer attached for the insta pot but never used it.
