I have an Old Country for longer smokes like brisket. But I bought a couple Yoder's in the last year, and I like the end product as much as the offset…..and it is so much easier. The Old Country has not been used in a while and will likely be sold.

What model Old Country do you have? Been looking at getting a Brazos, so just curious as to what you have been using.

Lonestar Grillz 24" X 60" offset, Evo griddle, Primo XL. Evo might be the most fun thing I've ever cooked on.

Current Inventory: Vision Grill (Kamado), and a Recteq Deck Boss 590 (Pellet)

I'm shopping around and I will soon add an infrared grill for searing. I might just end up getting a small portable one that fits on an outdoor table - some of those are very affordable.

Offset or pellet grill? If pellet, the ONLY smoker you should consider is the Camp Chef Woodwind Pro.

You get offset level smoke from the smoke box, and as a result it has beaten every pellet smoker that's been matched against it (there are several YouTube videos on this). Traeger, Yoder, LoneStar, RecTeq, GMG all fall far short. Elite smoke flavor and bark formation.

I've had mine for 2 years, and can attest that it makes phenomenal BBQ. You can 100% produce Monthly Top 20 level quality stuff if you got the right method and wood.
