Howdy Trouble, Thanks! There will be about 20 of us dining out. Therefore we need some place that can, hopefully, accommodate us all at one table, or two at most. We are up for anything, but knowing this group and our ADVANCED ages, Mexican, Italian, we (I) love breakfast which would not probably be attended by all. Love to hear what you got. Also, what are the nice motel/hotels in town now, have not been in a long time. And, again, Thank You so very much!!!!

Are y'all doing this during a home game weekend? If so, that makes things a lot harder since a lot of places will already be booked

TXAG 05: Oh my goodness NO! As you said, that would be a near impossibility, be in the Spring. Thanks for your thoughts!

Gotcha. When you said y'all were doing it this year, I was thinking football season.

Every year since we graduated, my fish buddies and I get together for a weekend at a different location(ranch/beach/lake,etc). Always a great time, we had this years just last week and already can't wait for next year.

Y'all should look into the on campus hotel, it's really nice and obviously a great location for a home base.

TXAG 05: GREAT IDEA! We will do that, we are a great deal older than you and your buddies, wish we could still do the beach thing. Our Class gets moved to the Sul Ross Classes, 50+ years since graduation, no more Campus Reunions for us!

I'm not a local, but Porter's in Century Square was really nice the last time we were there.

If you don't want to drive around a lot, you could always make The George your home base. Porter's is on the ground floor.

There's a great whiskey bar in the hotel, too. And Calvary Court is just across the walkway.
