If you were confronted with a last meal, what would it be? I will take a large sushi platter.
Damn I want a nice ribeye now. However, the price seemed to have doubled recently. I am retired, thus I often ask myself if I deserve something before I buy it. Unfortunately, I feel like I don't deserve a ribeye. lol I will spend money on my wife though.HTownAg98 said:
16 oz ribeye

We had that nearly every Sunday for lunch when I was a kid. I'd want that memory as my last meal.
I was active-duty army and stationed at Birmingham, AL for a couple years with a very large NG unit. I was able to buy a dozen raw oysters for $2 at a small Hispanic owned fish market. These were the size of my palm. There were a couple times the landlord, his buddy, and I ate a couple dozen oysters each with lemons and hot sauce. Then we threw the shells into the woods. It was a wonderful culinary experience.VP at Pierce and Pierce said:
Half a dozen raw oysters
3 chargrilled oysters
1 fried soft shell crab
Filet with blue cheese crust
Red & green enchiladas
Giant slice of strawberry cake with strawberry icing
There are so many other items I would consider.

Will the prison cooks care if the ribeye is medium rare? lolScience Denier said:HTownAg98 said:

Remember, the prison system is in charge of your steak.

I got you beat. Vacationed one July 4th week on the Puget Sound. My BiL had a WA fishing license which entitled us to stroll along the shore by our rental and pick several dozen daily. Our preferred method for eating them was lightly fried in olive oil and served on French bread but they were glorious! Forever ruined me for paying ridiculous prices at some fancy seafood place. I'd do that vacation again just for the oysters lol. Excuse me while I go cry a bit.
Do you know how to make the curry?HtownAg92 said:
Some combo of this:
Thai green curry mussels with some crusty bread
Smoked wings
CFS
Cheese enchiladas
Pappas Bros au gratin potatoes
Cornbread
No. I've just had it in a couple of places in Seattle over the years and it dominates. One was Palace Kitchen and the other was Blueacre Seafood (RIP, f'ing COVID).Tanker123 said:Do you know how to make the curry?HtownAg92 said:
