I've used GoldBelly to send a brisket as a gift, but I have never used it myself. Looking to order a pizza, and I'm looking to get some help in making a decision. I've got it down to three:

1. Di Fara's
2. Sally's Apizza
3. John's of Bleeker

Anyone have first hand experience with these? Lou Malnati's is also on the table, but I'm not a real deep dish guy. Closest thing I've had to any of the places above was Frank Pepe's, and I enjoyed it. I have a pizza oven, and as humble as I can be, I gotta say my pies are just as good as Frank Pepe's. I still like to try others "creations." Anyway, thanks for any input and opinions.

for a frozen one I'd think Malnati's deep dish would be the easiest to reheat and taste the best compared to s thinner type like you listed.

Yeah, part of me is apprehensive about dropping $100+ for a couple of frozen pies. However, I have a steam oven in my kitchen, and it does a great job of reheating pizza back to a "fresh, right out of the oven" taste.

If you want Malnati's go through Tastes of Chicago and they come out around $25/each shipped. I've bought a bunch of their Portillo's Italian beef pizzas recently since they are limited time only. They do pretty well baking them in a regular oven.

We ordered some deep dish pizzas from Chicago years back and they turned out great, I just can't remember which vendor they were from. Deep dish pizzas cook at a lower temperature than NY style so they don't require an oven that gets crazy hot. I've never ordered any that are thin crust but I'd have a little more reservations with those than a deep dish when it comes to cooking at home.

Did exactly the same thing (along with some pepperoni pizzas) for Christmas and they were a big hit. I ordered them on Cyber Monday and got a decent discount. The deep dish crusts were surprisingly crispy for frozen and shipped.

If you're cutting down on carbs, their crustless pizza is pretty good. The "crust" is sausage.

That looks dang good!

ETA: That same site now has Lou Malnati's thin crust pizza available for OP.

Man years ago Billy mentioned a place that he ordered from out of Brooklyn and I'd kill to find that name. It was in a video I believe back during the Covid era.

If it was Brooklyn, I can almost guarantee you that it was Di Fara's.

Did the same thing for Valentine's Day through taste of Chicago and added an order of Garrett's popcorn shipped with the Lou manatees pizza.
Just don't be dumb like me and burn your entire mouth where skin is flaking off for an entire week.
