If you have an AMEX or Chase Sapphire card, check the offers. Saw some meal kit types in there not too long ago

Hello Fresh and Home Chef also post all of their recipes online if you want to do the shopping yourself

your best bet is to head to groupon. They are pennies on the dollar for the first week or two. Try a few, then decide which you like.

I love Home Chef. Never had any issues with them and they're a bit cheaper than Hello Fresh. And with Hello Fresh I'm finding that there are a lot of smaller ingredients they expect you to have at the house that Home Chef includes in their kits. (Like butter....basic item but I'm glad I happened to have some on hand last time I started my Hello Fresh meal because they don't include it)

And it's a personal preference, but I like the packaging for Hime Chef better as well. They'll give you reusable bottles and screw top containers which I typically save and reuse. Hello Fresh puts everything in little sealed baggies that are a pain to try to open. Again, just personal preference and I'm not one of the "OMG!! Plastics!" people.

Was coming here to say this.

I keep the Hello Fresh app after cancelling the service and all of the recipes are available and free. Some of the recipes are really good, and shopping online for a pickup order is just as easy.

We have been using Martha Stewart & Marley Spoon since August. Most recipes have been great. The kids like most of them as well. We have enjoyed trying new things that we may not have tried otherwise.
I have a code I can share with you, good for a free box and up to 25% off the next 3 boxes.

If you get bored with the Hello Fresh options/types of things they do, maybe take a look at Gobble. GF's sister uses it and it seems more unique and really good.
