Looking for ideas that you've actually cooked and tasted good. Can add Himalayan salt after cooked.

Vegetables really aren't my forte - but, I've found myself eating a ton more. Any type of meat is still ok.

Lost 17 lbs in 3 weeks. Feel far better.

Understand the sugar and carb cutting, but fat is not the devil it can be made out to be. What you're doing sounds a lot like Whole30. Did it once and it was a PITA.

Egg muffin bites are good. Throw in veggies and meat and bake in a muffin tin for some easy quick breakfast bites.

I don't recall all that we made for that. The whole30 compliant bacon helped. Have that with some avocado and egg for a good breakfast.

Sweet potato made for a good pasta actually, but I know carrots and zucchini is real popular for pasta too.

Yeah, I know fat is not bad. Whole 30 is of course fine with olive oil, ghee, and coconut oil. I'm trying to support a family member who is on a different type of diet and find recipes that actually taste good (they are on this diet), so; I'm trying to eat like them, albeit a little differently.

Whole 30 was not as much as a PITA for me, as I had found a couple of recipes that worked for me.

HEBs new keto tortillas are MONEY.

They taste so natural (compared to Mission) and are so versatile.

Thanks. Another 13, and I'm done (5'11"). I want to get to around 170. I've been mowing and landscaping on the side (which lost me the first 7 lbs), and then started on the diet 3 weeks ago for the 17 I've lost since. So, 24 lbs lost since June, and feel much better.

Fat is fine on whole 30. I do one a year as a reset to my sugar habit

You are basically looking at vegetable and meat based dishes cook without fat

I like this recipe minus sugar https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/dai-dues-master-brined-chicken

Right I was just saying what the OP is doing is "like" Whole30. An even more extreme version of it.

Spaghetti Squash is something my wife and I really like.

Low calorie and filling is zucchini noodles and shrimp bake.
