Scrub the skins well, give them a very thin layer of oil, salt the hell out of them, and put them on your smoker. I do them pretty hot around 350 so they don't take forever. Depending on the size of the potato, they're done in about 1.5 hours at that temp, and will take longer at lower temps.

Totally agree there! A buddy would bring tortillas in foil to school and eat them with butter and we all thought he was crazy until he started sharing. So damn good.
