How long do you want to ignore this user?
I will be in Knoxville for a few nights in a couple of weeks and am looking for some decent places to eat. I expect to stay downtown unless there is a better option. I haven't been in 25 years so any recollection of the places that I previously went are worthless.

TIA

Stock and Barrel for a fantastic hamburger and old fashioned.

Peter Kern Library is a speakeasy with great drinks.

Sweet P's for BBQ. Like previous poster said Stock & Barrel is good. Others Hard Knox Pizzeria, Ye Olde Steak House, Nick & J's Cafe, Brazeiros, Gus's Good Times Deli, & Downtown Grill and Brewery

if you like German food and beer, I really enjoyed Schulz Brau when I went a couple of years ago.
