Ok Ags, please share your best gorditas recipe. I know some of you have dined at El Rincon del Viejo in Nuevo Laredo, and I would love to get their recipe. I believe they added mashed potatoes to the masa? Thanks in advance. Happy New Years

I prefer mine with Mexican Picadillo and guac, Pulled short ribs in guajillo sauce, Chicken Tinga, and Pork in Poblano mole all with refried beans and cotija cheese . Frying the dough tastes better, but obviously adds some calories. Nothing unique about my recipes so I'd just look them up if any of those sound good to you.
