How long do you want to ignore this user?
Mamma is turning 90 and I want to get the ol party gal a great cake, but from a bakery that delivers.

Any recommendations?

Knowing where you are located will help.

If you want a national bakery, Milk Bar will deliver anywhere in the US, but they aren't really traditional cakes.

I'm in SA, she's in RI. I know where she is limited and a National suggestion helps. Thanks for that rec

I've reached out to my baking communities to see if there is anyone in RI.

She's in Barrington, and I know of a few bakeries there (most of them pretty ehhh); I've used "we
Take the cake" before and they were OK, just wondering if someone had a great experience
with someone else. We are trying treat the ol
gal to a special weekend. My brother is in charge of getting really good bourbon which she loves, and booking a great restaurant. I'm in charge of the cake and big gift.

Most of the people I know run home baking businesses, and in my opinion, small batch bakeries are always better than commercial ones. You won't find many that are willing to ship nationwide, just because of the product and whatnot.
