Been curious about this one for a while. A few days ago I listened to Bryan Cranston on a podcast describe in detail how and where their mezcal is made, and its flavor profile, and I'm fairly intrigued.

Anyone had it? Thoughts?

I bought several bottles strictly for the Breaking Bad novelty.

It is good, but not great. Del Maguey Chichicapa is better for $10 more.

Chichicapa is my go to Mezcal for margaritas. Dos Hombres is my "I'm out of Chichicapa" mezcal.

It is not terribly interesting neat. If you are looking for a sipper, save up and get a Tepeztate - brand doesn't seem to matter. They are all really good - Bozal, Banhez, El Jolgorio. Really unique vegetal flavor. Best mezcal for sipping that I've had. It is an agave that grows wild and takes up to 25 years before it can be harvested. I was introduced to it at a mezcal tasting event at the Mexican embassy last year and am all about it now.
