What year ECBP and is it based on the A/B/C release?

Name your price, on any bottle and it is yours. I would like to know what you think fair is for someone who spends time, builds relationships, shares bottles and samples, and donates bottles to charity. Didn't mean to ruffle feathers…but 90% of what I purchase is opened or given away. Didn't think these prices were to bad for that, but I am guessing I am way off.

It's not the price of the bottles. Beauty of trading. Market always lets you know what moves and sits.

I think people are upset because it's so many entry level allocated bottles. People would rather you leave them on the shelf for others to get and drink, rather than buy so many. Truth is, if not you then someone else is going to snag that bottle to drink or flip. It is what it is in this bourbon economy.

True. Funny thing is…I looked at the list I posted and I only bought 2 bottles locally (BRT). Ironroot was a lottery at the distillery and every other bottle was out of state. Side note, if you ever need Eagle Rare in bulk head to Augusta Georgia the week before the Masters.

The reason I get most of the bottles I get locally is relationships. They watch me open the bottle, pour them part of it, share at events, etc. So the assumption that I clear the shelf when I can is wrong…unless you frequent A&M Liquor (yes it is called that and not because of us) or Liquor Land in Georgia.

If you open the EC soon, wouldn't mind a review. Grabbed a bottle from another poster here a couple weeks ago.

Pour a glass of Elijah Craig small batch, then dip a s'more in it. Then pick up that glass and take a drink. That is what I taste with the toasted barrel. A little bit more chocolate, pretty strong marshmallow. A little bit more cinnamon.

Side note: if you are local (BCS), and don't wanna open your bottle yet, I will gladly pour you a sample.

Anyone have a secondary value on Little Book chapter 6? I'm visiting family out of state and have a small shop with a few on the shelf at $130.

I grabbed one for myself, seeing that it was only $20 more than Booker's.

I haven't seen them go for crazy over msrp (which I believe is 125), but I've seen older batches get close to 200+. Batch 6 I've seen anywhere from 140-175 on secondary. You got a good deal! I think I paid 150 for mine when I got it.

Oddly enough I love eating graham crakcers when I drink ecbp and some reason only that one !
