Ever get up to DFW? Interested in the IronRoot 141.1. Not sure the next time I'll get to cstat but it might be Christmas before I do.
Has anyone seen a Larceny BP C922? I was able to snag both prior releases and this one seems to have slipped past me.
It made it around Houston within the last month or so
TW had the tag out for it yesterday, but they were gone. Same with ECBP, so I'm guessing those hit this week

Are there rules of what can or can't be posted for trade here? Or is it just people who get upset that they can't find anything for themselves and have to piss on other peoples post.
When people post a sizable list of stuff they have to offer for secondary market prices, it will tend to piss off people that actually enjoy drinking it and have trouble finding it.
It's one thing to grab an extra bottle to try to use for trading or whatever. But when you've got 6 bottles of ER…yeah. That'll ruffle some feathers.

Half of this stuff is currently sitting on the shelf at a liquor store near you. If you're butt hurt about it, but you are too lazy to go look for it, then that's on you.
Was at some store in Katy and they had all sorts of stuff at full secondary on the shelf. Looked up and saw OWA...figured it was for a raffle drawing...then saw the $140 tag.
Lots of the non-chain stores have things like this but marked up, they might offer special deals to frequent customers
The people complaining expect retail trades, never go to a liquor store and "hope they find better deals here than on secondary groups".
They just want someone else to do the leg work, meet them close to their house and get it at the same price.

I've been hunting for Wellers12 and finally found a bottle in a very small town I was passing through. He was asking $300 for it so I passed.
No, almost none of that stuff is on a shelf in Houston at retail. I think I've seen a basic Smokewagon once. ER is fully allocated. Etc.
The resell market has sucked for regular old bourbon lovers. "Putting in the work" isn't what many of us want to spend our time on.
And there are plenty of secondary groups for you guys to go and flip at max profit. This was supposed to be Aggies helping Aggies. Not charity, but not taking advantage.
That's my opinion at least.

If you are getting upset about people flipping Eagle rare and smoke wagon for $20 above retail, times must be tough in Houston.
I can't go buy an ER at retail because slap dicks buy up every bottle just to turn it for $20 profit.
I'm not mad, just annoyed by the entire situation.
Buddy went to Hondo past few days and stopped at some spots to check for me. A bottle of Smokewagon UU and KC 120 was the big score.

I feel you. Probably the same reason I stopped looking for stuff as much over the last couple months. Just got burned out if you will. Constant turnover of managers and more and more people clearing the shelves. Basically if you aren't at the store routinely or sometimes multiple times a week, then you aren't going to get anything.
And if it has come down to Eagle Rare and Smoke Wagon getting super hard to get.....bourbon game is just going full tilt.

Place by my parents' house had smoke wagon line up in stock today, all about $10 over retail, but first time to ever see it on the shelves.
A lot of this is very regional. Houston is just too big/too many people. I have a buddy in PDX and he sees ER.and what not on the shelves. ECBPbtakes a mo th to move.
Another in Idaho sent a pick where he bought 3 blantons at the same store for retail.
Houston, and all big cities in TX, it's just a nightmare. But there is great stuff on the shelf that gets little hype.
