FT or sell:
Blue Spot 7 Year: 300
Bardstown Chateau De Laubade: 350
Smoke Wagon Rye (2022 Release): 100
Would be open to just about anything, each of the above bottles are just +1's of ones I already have opened.
I'm in Houston
Oldest I can find is a 2012 that went at 1,950 earlier this year.Willie Lane said:

What is the value of SWUCTY? Someone offered one in a trade and I don't know the value on it.

We are planning to get bourbon for customer gifts for Christmas this year. Thinking $75-125 / bottle budget. For a few customers we may go nicer. Curious to see what recommendations we get from this thread?
I know its a rye, but Angels Envy Rye @ $90 fits the price range and I think its amazing....JMO!Goose06 said:

Pearland or Houston (work DT). Ags only.
I am open to both types depending on the customer. For some I would prefer something to impress (i.e.: Blanton's) and for others maybe something more like your suggestion on Old Weller Antique.TThom said:Goose06 said:

Do you want something they think is special or something that's actually worth that level of money?
If you are wanting to impress people who don't actually like Bourbon - Blantons in that range all day long.
If they actually like Bourbon - Old Weller Antique 107
Those should both be readily available on secondary in the $100-125 range depending on the quantity you are looking for or better if you can work something w a store w allocation
My 0.02
Plan would be to buy at a place like Total Wine or Specs. We are probably looking at about 100 bottles? Would prefer like 50-75 of those to be "easy" as in just pick a single bottle and buy a bunch of them. For 25-50 we might pick out something a little nicer or different (wine).Sazerac said:
You buying at a local store only, or on the secondary?
How many total bottles ?
