I was going through my mom's liquor cabinet making room and came across this unopened bottle:



The Weller logo at the top caught my eye, and a quick google showed some pretty high prices for this bottle from specialty retailers (in the $4-5k range). While I would love to add something like this to my collection, I have been tasked with turning this bottle in to cash instead.

Any thoughts on the best place to start for something like this?

There are probably tons of folks that can help you sell it on the secondary market. It would be helpful to you know where you are located so they can help locally.

Made the mistake of saying out loud what I saw it selling for, so need cash out of it. I'm basically the middle man on this for my mom, since it was my dad's bottle.

I would definitely entertain offers on cash + trade though.

What other info from the bottle would be helpful to have? I meant to take a better picture of the tax strip, but didn't. Should have some better pictures of that and the back of the bottle later today.

That was my first thought seeing the picture as well, but I'm admittedly not familiar with vintage 1.75L fill levels. Regardless, that's an awesome find that's worth a few grand to the right buyer.
