I love bell peppers
Not even trying to be rude or condescending but they are worst of the peppers. If you're looking for low/no heat but great flavor there are much better options that don't take over the dish. That said, to each his/her own.Bruce Almighty said:

this is one of the things where most of the kraut you can by in stores is abject garbage and not remotely like what you will eat in Germany, etc.HarleySpoon said:

Well, you shouldn't eat it straight out of the jar.Furlock Bones said:this is one of the things where most of the kraut you can by in stores is abject garbage and not remotely like what you will eat in Germany, etc.HarleySpoon said:

I am not Cajun but i know several who would be offended. The Cajun holy trinity (celery, onion and green pepper) starts several of my favorite dishes.Kanyes psychiatrist said:Not even trying to be rude or condescending but they are worst of the peppers. That's because they don't. That's why they can be used in so many things - they provide good bulk, but don't provide much in the way of flavor or heat.agdaddy04 said:
Very strange. I've never felt they over power a dish.

Bell peppers of all types are wonderful, especially green.
Eat them raw, saute them, pickle them, they're all great.
Nonsense! Boiled okra is one the greatest things ever invented.Bonfired said:
Beets.
Can't stand them in any form of preparation. Some people love 'em...guess somebody needs to.
The delta between fried okra and boiled okra is tremendous...fried okra is delicious. Boiled okra is what I would imagine a bowl full of snot tastes like. But, I'm biased against slimy, gloppy food.

Same here. I found out recently that there are people in this world who don't like eggs. Very strange.
I'm not a fan of eggs by themselves. I hated them as a kid, which was an issue because we ate them scrambled every Sunday for breakfast. The smell, texture, and taste did not agree with me, and I wasn't allowed to leave the table until I cleaned my plate.Eliminatus said:Take it one further. Cilantro apparently smells like bed bug infested clothing. That's where the word Coriander comes from in Greek.
I still freaking love Cilantro
You're talking to someone with the genetic predisposition against it...expresswrittenconsent said:TThom said:

I've also heard that it (cilantro) tastes like body odor smells and that it tastes like soapy dish water, but I don't mind it in my salsa.
Ate the stuff when I was a kid. Not sure I could eat it now. Maybe need to try again. Pretty sure it will still be on the shelf even in this crisis.mjones said:
